Pool Decking / Patios

Quality & Reliability Guaranteed

At Pools By Tom, Tom Pilgrim transforms backyards into spectacular custom outdoor living spaces. He makes swimming pools blend beautifully into all the surroundings.

No pool is complete without the right pool decking/patios. Tom offers a wide variety of pool/decking options from non-slippery to non-coarse to heat reflective and more.

A list of pool decking/patio options but not limited to.

Concrete – Decorative concrete has become one of the hottest trends of today. The application is less costly than other types of decking such as stone, slate, and wood. This type of decking can replicate the traditional decking while complimenting the exterior of the home and blending beautifully with the backyard environment.

Composite Wood – Composite wood looks like wood but does not require the maintenance that wood does. It is made of a plastic-like synthetic and does not rot, fade or splinter. It comes in a variety of simulated wood types.

Wood – Wood creates a natural look, is low cost and can be built above the ground. However, it does require quite a bit of maintenance. It needs to be regularly stained and sealed.

Pavers – Pavers are bricks which are made of either stone or concrete. They are placed on top of either sand or gravel stone and are arranged into an interlocking pattern. They are available in a variety of sizes, shapes, and colors. Generally, they are less expensive than other types of decking. Pavers can be easily replaced.

Stone – Stone is usually the most costly option; however, it is a very popular choice amongst homeowners. There is a wide variety of stone types, colors, shapes, and sizes. It is ultra durable and requires very little maintenance. It provides a natural look and has a non-slip surface.

Tile – Tile provides a modern, elegant and clean look. Unglazed tile is recommended for around swimming pools vs. the glazed which would be way too slippery. There is a variety of specialty tiles that come in different sizes and shapes and also can resemble brick, marble, wood or stone.

When creating decking/patios the designs are almost limitless. Contact Pools By Tom to get started. We offer a free in-home consultation and are looking forward to hearing from you.
